[lsb-discuss] LSB: libcap?

I was trolling through old open bugs and came across
http://bugs.linuxbase.org/show_bug.cgi?id=101,
which originally asked for capget/capset and then
morphed into a request for the higher-level libcap.

When that bug was filed the request for the
original two interfaces had come up fairly often
(in particular, I remember samba likes to fiddle with
capabilities if the functionality is available).
But I haven't heard much about this recently.

Is there still any interest in pursuing this?
