Well, my thought was that it could act as a useful package for ISVs to
take advantage of, and as a part of the appbat, something that would
have pretty good testing.
We use lsb-python for that purpose already, both as part of the C++
tests and for bzr support. Other parts could be used in the same way
now, such as lsb-tcl.
