Here's the main problem I see with that: open source folks want
online package delivery, but none of the LSB doc deals with how
to generate yum and apt repositories containing LSB packages.
Also, the LSB packaging tools don't include a copy of alien,
which they would need to do to make it easy to generate LSB
packages in .deb format to insert into said apt repositories.
Solve those two problems and Bob's your uncle.
