Earlier today, a refresh of the desktop test package
(version 3.1.1-3) was completed. A few issues including
compiler build warnings that had been missed were
cleaned up, and there should now be progress (hopefully
completion) on open bugs 1378, 1417 and 1547. 1547 was a
real problem which has been seen on distributions with a
newer gtk upstream; 1378 helps us detect more clearly
when tests have not been run and 1417 hopefully
addresses the situation where the fontconfig tests
don't leave any results.

If you're not seeing any of these issues then installing
the newer package should not change any results.

All the other packages remain available for testing.
There's been some holdup in getting the higher-level
testkits (tarball + apt and yum repositories) completed
and announced so we haven't formally announced the
beta period yet but for those willing to work with
individual packages, especially if you have a bug pending
you'd like to confirm is actually fixed, the beta packages
are available on the ftp site.
