[lsb-discuss] appchk bug?

If an executable depends on an so which does not end in .so appchk does
not check the library and flags the library as "missing".

For example, given the following tree:

/tmp/myapp/bin
     myapp
     mylib.so.1

Running appchk

lsbappchk -D/tmp/myapp/bin -j /tmp/myapp/bin/myapp

The journal will produce a DT_NEEDED message for mylib.so.1 as not being
part of the LSB. The way I interpret the -D option this library should
be found, checked and there should not be a complaint about DT_NEEDED
for myapp?

Thanks,
Robert
