Attendees: Sam Hart, Dan Kohn, Stew, Jeff, Kay Tate, Alexey, Russ
Herrold, Ted Ts'o, Darrin Davis

Printing Summit.

F2F. Talked about the agenda, attendance. Darrin: can change rooms if
needed; the rooms are all in the same facility, but so far the numbers
look OK for the current room; up to 30.

LSB 3.2 release. Go over the specifications listed on
https://www.linux-foundation.org/en/ProjectPlan32.  Kay: mount, umount?
  Added to wiki page. Ted: what do ISVs need? Kay: still trying to
make that case.  Ted: mount() interface is kernel-based, and changes;
may be better to use a compat library which does the shelling out. Kay:
mount() ABIs are very popular.

C++: status quo. Ted: is anyone assigned to make sure gcc 4.2 can be
persuaded to make LSB-compliant binaries? Jeff: no, but is on task
list. Already have an issue with stack protection.

Graphics. X extension library controversy. Shape, X11 libs in DB.
Xrender, Xft.

Desktop: Freetype. Repair work needed on the headers for freetype. Qt
4. Printing tests are there, still may need some work. GhostScript
drivers checked for, need more functional testing. Also, foomatic-rip.

ALSA, Python, Perl. Stew: getting integrated into the main spec.

Alexey: new tests have exposed bugs in the implementations. Some have
been fixed in the distros, others have not. Need to decide how we
handle these.

Jeff: did receive email from the IBM team to upload data, haven't dealt
with it yet. Kay: have proceeded on, working with ISPRAS. Some of the
old data isn't in the right format for uploading, working on getting it
converted if possible. Will collect all future data to be easily
uploadable.
