I've updated the high-level list of items. Its important to me that we 
agree on what's on this list.  It's nice to point out "extensions", but 
that's much less important at the moment.

Should this migrate to the existing wiki?

Most of the open-items are just AI's for me (at this point), although it 
seems that Ron is about the be on the hook.

We still need to design the installation points to account for 32/64 bit 
co-residency.  The suggestion was made to use:

    /usr/lib/java
    /usr/lib64/java

On the surface, these seem to be logical locations. However, I'm worried 
about the situation of:

    /usr/lib -> /usr/lib64

I haven't thought this out yet.  If anybody has thought this out for a 
different component, please share your experiences.  :-)
