The release candidates for the August 1 stable updates are now available
for testing by interested parties. This release includes updates to the
4.1 distribution tests and the application tests. Updates to the 4.0
distribution tests and application battery are also coming, and will be
available shortly.

We currently support installing these release candidates in two ways:
via yum repository, and via tarball bundle.

The yum repository is here:

http://ftp.linuxfoundation.org/pub/lsb/repositories/yum/lsb-beta/

The tarball bundles are here:

http://ftp.linuxfoundation.org/pub/lsb/bundles/beta/

When running the distribution tests, be sure to tell the Distribution
Checker to use the previously-installed versions of the tests;
otherwise, it may replace the beta versions with released versions.

Please report feedback to the mailing list, or file bugs in our bug
tracker (https://lsbbugs.linuxfoundation.org).  Please indicate that
your report comes from the beta, and from which source you got the beta
software.
