Posted Agenda:
==============

  - LSB 5.0 schedule, progress, etc., part 2
    https://wiki.linuxfoundation.org/en/Uplift_Target

New business:
=============

Meeting opens at 11:00 with:

buildbot polling seems to be stabilizing, and the load issues
that were causing heartburn seem to be solved

Housekeeping as to domains; note that the link to the bug
tracker in these minutes now points to
http://bugs.linuxbase.org

Discussion of removal of Qt3, in future versions; it will of
course remain in the database as a required foreign key for
earlier versions. Some suggestion of 'normalization' issues
being present in the existing database schema

Back to the wiki list as to proposed additions:
    https://wiki.linuxfoundation.org/en/Uplift_Target

dbus -- bindings to include discussed. As before, coding
directly to the native underlying dbus interfaces, rather than
using the tools in the relevant widget set accessing it, seems
to be NOT be the preferred method of dbus usage per the dbus
upstream. Use the API of the widget set ... which implies for
the LSB ... ? bug 1857

ncursesw -- bug 1761; no change

sane -- 14 interfaces are in the database, otherwise blocked
until Glen frees up in June as to test suite matters

Mats: as to deprecation of Gtk+ 2, is there a tracking bug?
Nope -- one is needed
deprecation of Qt3: bug 3547
deprecation of Python 2 -- conclusion is: not yet -- no bug;
wiki needs to be updated
deprecation of pax -- bug 2785; Rick notes a need to leave a
breadcrumb
deprecation of sendmail -- bug 2407

systemd: no discussion bug yet

Call ends at local Noon
