New business:
=============

Meeting opens at 11:00 with:

We welcome Sam Spurlock, who dials in as rpm5 has a new
release coming out soon.

Mats has been refactoring some networking tests, as there is
some room for improvement to avoid some dependency
assumptions. Something of a variance between the promises of
a POSIX man page, and the earlier test writer's
implementation. Patch, grant waivers, and address in an
update, seems to be the approach. see bug: 3524 [1]
   http://lsbbugs.linuxfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3524

Kay asks about adding milestones (not hard deadlines, so much
as a sequence diagram). Russ found this the other day, which
uses custom bugzilla queries to populate a wiki [2]
   https://wiki.yoctoproject.org/wiki/Yocto_1.6_Schedule
Jeff knows the yocto admin (Michael Halstead) and will ask
after borrowing some code. Robert remarks that LSB.next
history will probably need to be extracted from github commit
remarks as well

Jeff mentions he was self-debriefing, along with Kay's notes,
as to LSB.next [3]
   https://wiki.linuxfoundation.org/en/New_LSB
to act as a transition 'Rosetta Stone' into the next phase of
the LSB. It is, of course, in a wiki, and one can 'subscribe'
via a 'watch' (see the bottom of the page when authenticated)
to see updates as they are committed. Jeff is planning to
send a 'broad outline of problems facing the LSB, and present
solution proposals' This would be sort of a status of
'LSB.next' current thoughts document update to his employer at
the LF. To be sent at the end of this week, so look in
quickly with suggestions

As to LSB 5 initial release, one can CC into [4] which is the
release railhead bug, with blockers
    http://lsbbugs.linuxfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3164
the P1 bugs are here [5], and the target in the wiki: [6]

    (long form)

    https://wiki.linuxfoundation.org/en/ProjectPlan50

Native s390 / s390x hardware available -- thanks, Rick. Jeff
will transition into them, doing such under 'script' so that
setup documentation may be be re-worked by Russ.

Power builders are updated to OpenSUSE 12.3 dues to some
security issues. There were bootloader problems which
required 'local hands' from OSUOSL

Call ends at local Noon
