join in or call in!

New business:
=============

Meeting opens at 11:00 with:

Conference bridge acting up all finally present at 11:08

SDK build on side arches for the beta were the sticking point,
and cleaning this up has been the work of the last week for
Mats and Jeff

SDK 4.1.8 seems to be building on all arches as of today's
call, and adds the needed 5.0 capabilities

Russ requests that the email describing the release of this
new milestone include specific examples demonstrating how to
toggle between the (default) LSB 4 series, and the newly
supported LSB 5 [beta] series, and Jeff indicates he will do
so

Appchk, distchk and misc-test for all arches, and the rest for
all arches EXCEPT for s390 / s390x. Those for s390 and s390x
will appear as the build slaves finish

Build order dependencies key off the SDK, so missing
dependencies should, in theory not apprar. Jeff mentions:
Theory, and Practice, Distinguished

Collab summit -- we have a conference room confirmed. March
26-28, 2014 see:
   http://events.linuxfoundation.org/events/collaboration-summit
for details. In addition to Jeff, Robert and Kay are
confirmed attendees. Plan is to also turn up a Google
Hangouts voice and video bridge

Marist 'real iron' builders are delayed due to problems with
install of Fedora 19. Russ recommends that if a Fedora is
wanted, that a F20 be used, as it is better (and will be
longer) supported. Russ has provided to jeff by email cpies
of the relevant install URLs. Also grabbing copies of the
Red Hat 7 s390x beta ISOs at Marist make a lot of sense. Russ
has local copies and it the RHEL 7 final drops and the beta
images disappear from:
   ftp://ftp.redhat.com/redhat/rhel/beta/7/
can provide them (grab the PPC 64 set as well)

Russ will attain a ClefOS 7 s390 and s390x instance, and
requests access to two instances, installed with ClefOS 6,
each with two 9G minidisks one for OS, and the other at /opt
in this regard. Marist (and the general public) may grab the
latest, existing s390 / s390x ClefOS 6 ISOs at:
   http://download.sinenomine.net/clefos/

As Z hardware changes at a radically different pace than PC /
'Distributed' respins of ISOs to 6.5 are really just a labor
of love, and do not produce a different install than doing a
6.4 and running updates

Back to the Collab summit, Jeff mentiones some additional
topics for discussion (what to do about 31 and 32 bit arches
in PPC and S390), among others. Russ asks that a wiki page
with 'hour slots' for proposed topics of discussion, and the
URL mentioned in the mailing list so that remote participants
can set their schedule as to participation times

Call ends at local 11:50
