Do you have a list?  That might be helpful.

It's possible that the UTF-8 characters are mistakes, but it's possible
they're intentional.  I would imagine UTF-8 support is something we can
assume these days if so, but I'm willing to be convinced otherwise.

As I recall, this was an intentional change, because strictly speaking
Bourne != POSIX, and we want to indicate POSIX, not the original Bourne
syntax.  See the bug here:

We usually write up a changes document to go along with new specs that
highlights the important differences, and point to the bug tracker and
version control for the complete change set.  Does that work for you?
