Posted Agenda:
=================
Agenda:
- LSB 5.0 beta status and bug fix status.
- Google Summer of Code participation.
New business:
=============
SDK was released last week. Jeff started builds of all of the
archs except z to make sure they all else built. Only Power
failed with the released version. Jeff upgraded the C++ header
package and found an unapplied patch that was done a couple of
years ago. No apparent reason why it isn't in or why it
affects the Power status.
Mats is working with gtk3 still. List of errors is diminishing
though and allowed him to find three missing type problems
most recently.
Kay mentioned having one more shot at getting the ISVs on
board to the LSB. She is in research mode still but hopes to
bring discussion points into the Summit.
Rick asked if Xen falls under LF. Yes. KVM does also. It is an
official community project of the LF as well. Jeff noted that
a lot of the interesting stuff in general is Hypervisor
agnostic.
Jeff reminded people to sign up for the collab summit. Jeff
can help get invitations if needed.
Google Summer of Code page:
http://www.linuxfoundation.org/collaborate/workgroups/gsoc/2014-gsoc-lsb-projects
LF has been accepted as a hosting organization for GSoC. More
projects have been in definition in the past week. Qt uplift
is badly overdue, as is addition of Qt5 (repeat).
Call ends at local 11:50
