Indeed, libchk, elfchk, appchk have simple self tests to catch segfaults. Even
such tests are really useful; on our we sometimes obtain libchk segfaults due
to incorrect database data. The same test would be useful for devchk, I think
it's not hard to create it.

The main proposal from my side is to integrate existing tests to autobuilders
and to display they results on daily build status pages somehow. Keeping in
mind devchk problems with GL headers that took place not long ago, I'd say that
it would be useful to see a report about devchk crash instead of journal
terminated in the middle.
