Summary: unexpected ordering changes in misc-test/libchk
           Product: Infrastructure
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: build tools
        AssignedTo: mats at freestandards.org
        ReportedBy: mats at freestandards.org
         QAContact: lsb-infrastructure at freestandards.org

Created an attachment (id=1174)
 --> (http://bugs.linuxbase.org/attachment.cgi?id=1174)
diff of a libchk "make gensrc"

It seems that when libchk files are regenerated, the order of entries in tables
changes unexpectedly. this is frustrating because the "noise" makes it harder
to pick out and validate real changes in these files. attaching a diff to have
this issue recorded somewhere. In this case, the previous build was on a
different host - "old" was Mandriva 2008.0/ia32 and "new" was Fedora 8/x86_64
(note that differences have certainly been observed between consecutive runs on
the same build host).
