From imurdock at imurdock.com Tue Apr 10 04:31:38 2007 From: imurdock at imurdock.com (Ian Murdock) Date: Thu Jul 12 13:07:55 2007 Subject: [lsb-sc] LSB Steering Committee additions, rescheduling the SC call Message-ID: Hi all, First off, I'd like to welcome Dan Kohn and Greg Kroah-Hartman to the LSB Steering Committee. Dan is here as interim CTO of the Linux Foundation. Greg is here representing the Linux kernel developers, and his participation will hopefully put us on a path to better integrate the kernel with the LSB, so we can provide the kernel interfaces that ISVs have been asking for. Welcome both! Second, I'd like to find a new time for the monthly LSB Steering Committee conference call. Participation on the last several calls has been light, and given our two new members, I thought now would be a good time to revisit the time slot issue. Please send me a list of times that work for you. It is very important that we talk as a group periodically. I'm wondering if I should do a dump of free time in just a workday, or if I need to basically tell you when I'll be in too deep a sleep to hear the alarm ring? =) If we're collecting, I'm in Canada/Montr?al, currently -0400. I cannot make Thursday mornings before 9.15 Pacific time. Wednesdays I cannot make any time later than 8.00 am Pacific time. -- Nick Stoughton Cell: 510 388 1413 USENIX Standards Liaison Fax: 510 548 5738
