I certainly don't believe that Yfrwlf is opposed to the LSB or 
distributions in any way. A new LSB-based cross-distro packaging 
solution that complements the native package managers (e.g. the Berlin 
API) is a wothwhile approach, in my opinion. You shouldn't narrow your 
view specifically on the LSB RPM spec just because it is already there; 
a broader discussion should certainly happen, also on this list.

We should all agree to use the LSB as our base for everything but the 
package format, though.
