Clearly I'm not one of "those folks".

But unless someone willing to speak for LSB (Mats posting
here was carefully noted) willing to set well-defined
"standard" deliverables (the only recent proposal is
"The Berlin API" which lacks an implementation 2+ years
later), the LSB packaging "standard" -- whatever that means --
just isn't going to make progress.

Its all about specification. One could hope for "open",
but I'll personally settle for specified.
