Folks:

I had to attend to a friend that needed emergency room care last night (I
just got home at 1:00am) and will need to go back to help him at 6:00am. I
will not be able to host the meeting today.

Sadly, we have not put together a plan for handling emergency situations
such as this very event. This topic needs to be addressed and resolved by
next meeting.

With regards to the architecture, we need to get back to focusing on the
details rather than administrative tasks. I think it would help pull us
back on task if we put together a time line for our efforts.

Here are example questions we might ask to help us pull together tasks and
dates:

  - What are the missing pieces?
  - What are the incomplete pieces?
  - What are the dependencies on the missing or incompletes?
  - Who will work on what? How long will it take?
  - What supporting documentation do we need to write?
  - Are we waiting for anything else?
  - Do we have a deadline we are trying to meet?

You get the idea.

Mark Hamzy and Glen Petrie did a great job pulling together a roadmap for
the driver subgroup. I think we can leverage from the work that they
established.

If you do not think this is the right direction we need to take, please let
me know.

If you have additions to the above, please let me know.

My apologies for the inconvenience,
Charles
