We planned to continue working on the use cases that we had started last
week during the PWG/FSG meeting in Portland OR. The use cases were not
available in time for our meeting (they have since been sent to the mailing
list), so we decided to work on the high level architecture diagram that we
created last week. Norm created an Open Office version of the high level
architecture diagram from the flip chart version. It is located on the pwg
ftp site at:
   ftp://ftp.pwg.org/pub/pwg/fsg/architecture/FSG-10000ft.sxd
   ftp://ftp.pwg.org/pub/pwg/fsg/architecture/FSG-10000ft.pdf

Pete had created high level diagrams (arch1-6-12-2003.jpg and
arch2-6-12-2003.jpg also on the PWG ftp site). Pete's diagrams cover
multiple levels which we'd like to break down. so we decided to have a
10,000 ft diagram comparable to what we created last week and then break
each of the boxes down further into subsequent diagrams (say at the 3,048
meter level).

We decided that since everyone could run Open Office on their machines for
free that we would use Open Office as our drawing tool for the diagrams.

Mark volunteered to convert Pete's diagrams from FreelanceGraphics to
OpenOffice, which he has done and is located at:
   ftp://ftp.pwg.org/pub/pwg/fsg/architecture/arch-6-12-03.sxi

During our next meeting we will discuss who will/should create each
diagram. During the next meeting we will also continue working on the use
cases.

During last week's meeting in Portland we created a ToDo list on a flip
chart. Charles, do you have this list? If so could you please post it?
Thanks.

Due to the US 4th of July holiday next week we decided to cancel the FSG
Open Print Architecture meeting next Thursday July 3rd. We will meet again
on Thursday July 10th.
