[Printing-architecture] My version of the Free License

All,

I have been ask to update the IJS (0.35) specification to version 1.0. I
was using a basic copy of the MIT license (like the one Raph originally
used). But I have a concern about long-term licensing issues. I wanted to
put the code (all parts of ijs version 1.0) under MIT so that vendors and
manufactures (and others) are free to use the code without any code or usage
restrictions. I want to encourage any developers to use this code, weather
it be with open-source or proprietary code with no restriction or worries.
That means the code must not be restricted by any other future public or
private license weather the code is used in its whole or material
modifications. That must include the GNU GPL or LGPL or such licenses.
Developers should have to worry about having the mandatory restriction to
provide their source code if they incorporate or use ijs version 1.0 with
their proprietary or open-source code.

Thus the license modification below is the one I intend to use for version
1.0. It allows any one to

use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, and/or sell copies

of the Software but does not allow any one to change the license such that
using or incorporating the code creates any further restrictions or
conditions.

The hope is that this will keep the code available to everyone; both
open-source and proprietary developers.
