Hi,

I'd like to nominate myself for the Technical Advisory Board.

Thank-you,
Kevin Dankwardt

Statement for you to please read on my behalf.

"
Like, I expect, all of you here, Kevin Dankwardt (Dank' wert) spends all day, every working day, with Linux. Dr. Dankwardt has been providing Linux training and consulting services, full-time, since 1999. He served as Contributing Editor to Embedded Linux Journal and LinuxDevices.com. He served as the Technical Chair of embedded Linux conferences in Milan, San Jose, Washington D.C., and Boston.

He has trained thousands of engineers in the practice of development of applications, device drivers, and embedded systems with Linux.

Dr. Dankwardt also works with the Linux Professional Institute (LPI) on a new certification project. Kevin Dankwardt has brought Linux training to engineers through-out North America, Europe, and Asia. Kevin Dankwardt also served on the working group of, and personally drafted the original requirements for, the Platform Standard for embedded Linux systems by the Embedded Linux Consortium, (that was eventually absorbed into the Linux Foundation).

Kevin Dankwardt will bring his insight into the needs and practices of the embedded Linux and developer communities to the Technical Advisory Board.
